Networking and the Internet touch our lives in untold ways every day. Narasimha style of structured teaching helps the readers to grasp concepts easily. He begins by explaining the physical layer of computer hardware, networking, and transmission systems, after which he tackles advanced concepts pertaining to network applications.

This book has become the dominant book for this course because of the authors' reputations, the precision of explanation, the quality of the art program, and the value of their own supplements.
