This book on the development of the US B29 bomber and the air attacks on Japan. Most of the first 50 pages the USSAAF organziation that was established to deploy the bomber in China and later in the Marianas Islands. After that,the book discusses the efforts to attack targets in Japan from high altitude and eventually the low altitude fire bombing raids staring in March of 1945.
