Slick ideas on lumber storage and a neat trick for storing sheet goods are included. There are loads of drawings and plans to make jigs and work savers.

The Shop Layout chapter includes scale drawings of typical shop machines so you can layout your shop on paper first. It also includes things like lighting, electricity, floors and ceilings, and heating and ventilation. There is a Workbench chapter that includes instructions for building a bench as well as information on vises and other accessories. Shop Accessories includes dust collection, bench grinders, and air compressors. The Storage chapter has info on storing lumber, hand tools, clamps and the like. Finally, there is a section on Work Surfaces and one on Safety. This looks like a good book to look at before (and even after) you set up your shop.
