This book is design for the undergraduate students of College and University. It gives brief introduction to Python on how to install, and update. It contains seven chapters starting with Introduction to Python, Matrices, Calculus, Differential Equations and Graphs and Plotting and how the problems related to these topics discussed are solved using Python. Many code are already given in the book which will help the students to learn Python programming as well.
Chapter 1 starts with the introduction and installation of Python and basic mathematics is discussed with the difference in Anaconda and Python.
Chapter 2 discuss the topics on matrices with Python programming and application of matrices to solve system of linear equations.
Chapter 3 deals with the calculus part starting with functions, limit of a functions, continuous functions, concept of derivative, function of several variables so to start off with partial derivatives. Leibniz rule and Euler’s theorem are added to the application part.
In Chapter 4 series is discussed and it is extended to Taylor’s series and Maclaurin series. There are noted number of examples are provided for the students so that they can do more practice.
Chapter 5 covers integrability which is one of the corner stone in mathematics. In this chapter, started with partition and discuss Riemann Integration with the uniqueness and existence theorem and further extended to indefinite integrals. Although, only definite integral problems are solved and codes are given on how to solve integration problems.
Chapter 6 is devoted to one more important part in mathematics i.e., Differential Equations and Partial Differential Equations. As the topic itself is very vast only slight touch is given along with the python code.
Chapter 7 covers sketching and plotting of functions and important curves with some mathematical objects. A list of python code is provided so that students use it in their further studies.
