To improve prediction accuracy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially Computational Intelligence (CI) and Machine Learning (ML) methods and algorithms have naturally been used to develop recommender systems. Artificial Intelligence will become more prevalent in the healthcare sector, especially for diagnosis and treatment decisions such as the one implemented by authors, patient engagement and adherence, and healthcare workforce administrative activities.
In 1999, the concept of IoT was created as part of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) development community. Though, the real idea of linked devices had been longer in existence, at least from the 1970s. At that time, the plan was often termed as “embedded internet” or “pervasive computing.” In 1999, the actual term came i.e. “Internet of Things.” It was trying to attract the consideration of the organization to a new interesting technology “RFID.” As internet was a modern trend in 1999, thus it was named as “Internet of Things”, it did not get pervasive attention almost for a decade. The “thing” in IoT can be a person embedded with a heart monitor, a farm animal embedded with a biochip transponder (an injectable ID chip which is inserted under the skin), an automobile having built in sensors or some other living/non-living object which can be given an Internet Protocol and is capable of transferring statistics over a network.
An IoT system involves smart devices which are web enabled they make the use of implanted systems like processors, sensors, and communication hardware for gathering, sending, and performing the information they have received from their surroundings. Devices associated with IoT can share the information that is accumulated by connecting to an IoT gateway where it is analyzed either by sending the data to the cloud or locally. Major part of this work can be done by devices or mobile applications having no kind of human involvement. There are several practical applications where IoT is penetrated in everyday life.
