IoT combines devices, sensors, actuators, and humans to enable a free flow of conversation between devices and humans. The advancement of AI and machine learning, the conversation among devices/machines, allows the machine/devices to react, respond, anticipate, and advance the physical world similar to information enhancement which was done by the Internet using the computer screens and network. Most of the current development in IoT is towards the industry. Sensors play an important role in the IoT world. These are the components that are connected to devices to sense the physical world. It measures the physical inputs and converts them into raw data, which is stored for analysis and access. The advancement of sensors helps the devices to understand consumers at every level; hence, the term smart object is coined up. Examples include temperature and thermal sensor, light and imaging sensors, velocity and motion sensors, proximity sensor, pressure and force sensor, and many more.
