Для меня всё началось в другом мире, весной 2020-го года, когда я, старый косорукий чёрт, решил отремонтировать греющуюся электророзетку. Ну и конечно, меня долбануло током, а много ли надо дедушке семидесяти трёх лет от роду? Вот-вот, двухсот двадцати вольт при пятидесяти герц хватило с избытком. Что я чувствовал? Да ничего особенного: вслед за спазмом от электрического разряда, с каким-то нутряным хрустом остановилось сердце, мгновенно лишились сил все члены, и я безвольной куклой завалился на крашенный коричневой краской пол. Сознание не покинуло меня чуть ли не полминуты, и я успел увидеть, как от заискрившей розетки стали расползаться по стене чёрные языки, которые моментально вспыхнули. Деревянные стены, высушенные за десятки лет, захрустели пожираемые огнём... Жалко дом. Я возводил его своими руками, ну, кроме электрической проводки и кирпичного крыльца, а так от фундамента и кровли до оклейки обоев - всё сам. Ну, разве что на помощь кого-то нанимал, но потом от результата работы этих косоруких помощников долго плевался. Уж лучше просить о помощи своих же учеников: эти хоть слушают, когда им говоришь. | |
